Who Should Attend?
This SMSTS Refresher course is designed for:
- Site managers, supervisors, and agents who have previously completed the full 5-day SMSTS course
Prerequisites:
- Valid SMSTS Certificate that has not expired
- Photographic ID required for attendance
- Applicants must hold NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Construction Site Supervision in order to be issued a card
Course Aim
The aim of this SMSTS Refresher training is to update delegates on recent changes in legislation, guidance, and best practice affecting construction management.
It reinforces your responsibilities for maintaining high standards of health, safety, welfare, and environmental control on site.

Certification
Successful delegates will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus SMSTS Refresher certificate, valid for 5 years.
To maintain certification, you must renew before your expiry date; otherwise, you will need to complete the full 5-day SMSTS course again.
