The High-Risk Confined Spaces Training Course provides essential skills and certification for individuals required to enter or work in high-risk confined spaces. This City & Guilds–aligned qualification meets the requirements of the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 and is suitable for both water and non-water industries.
Training is delivered at our Portadown Training Centre, Dublin Office, or via our Mobile Confined Space Training Unit for maximum flexibility and convenience.

Course Aim
To provide delegates with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to safely plan, enter, and work in high-risk confined spaces, following the national standard for safety in both water and non-water industry environments.
Course Objectives
By the end of this High-Risk Confined Spaces Training, candidates will be able to:
- Prepare and work safely in high-risk confined spaces
- Enter and exit confined spaces using approved safe systems of work
- Use equipment and tools safely, including gas monitors and breathing apparatus
- Follow working procedures and implement effective control measures
- Respond to emergency and rescue situations
- Understand the principles of working in low-risk and high-risk confined spaces
- Apply standard protocols and procedures outlined in BS 6164 and HSE guidance
