Delegates must be 18 years or older and medically fit according to current industry requirements.

Course Aim

The aim of this ERT confined space training course is to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to:

  • Operate breathing apparatus and rescue equipment safely
  • Follow safe systems of work in confined and restricted spaces

  • Use essential confined space entry equipment
  • Perform gas detection and monitoring
  • Operate breathing sets, harnesses, and rescue equipment
  • Use tripods and man-riding winches effectively during rescue operations

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Delegates must bring:

  • Safety boots, helmet, gloves, and hi-vis coat/vest
  • Personal facemasks and breathing apparatus (BA) preferred but can be supplied
