How the NVQ Assessment Works
This NVQ is assessed through an on-site evaluation carried out by a qualified assessor who will support you throughout the process. Assessment methods may include:
- Direct observation of workplace performance
- Witness testimonies
- Professional discussions
- Work product evidence (RAMS, timesheets, operator logs, etc.)
- Photographic or video evidence
- Knowledge-based questioning
There are no exams. Your competence is proven naturally through your everyday work.
Entry Requirements
- Learners must be currently employed in a suitable construction role.
- Must be operating the relevant plant equipment associated with the chosen optional pathway.
- Must be able to provide site access for assessor visits.
There are no formal academic requirements.
