The NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Controlled Lifting Operations – Supervising Lifts is a work-based qualification designed for individuals responsible for supervising lifting operations across construction, engineering, civil works, and heavy lifting environments.

This qualification is assessed on-site, allowing you to demonstrate your competence in your real working environment. It recognises existing skills while developing the specialist knowledge required to safely and effectively supervise lifting activities.

You will be assessed against the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for your role. A qualified assessor will work with you throughout the process to support your progression and ensure you meet all required criteria.

• Co-ordinating Preparation Work for Site or Lifting Operations in the Workplace

• Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace
• Maintaining Systems for Health, Safety, Welfare, and Environmental Protection in the Workplace
• Coordinating and Organising the Control of Work in the Workplace
• Allocating and Monitoring the Use of Plant, Equipment or Machinery in the Workplace
