This includes working in overhead and underground environments from block terminals to the Customer Splice/Service Point (CSP).
This course bridges the gap between network build and customer installation, ensuring the fibre network is ready, safe, and compliant with industry standards.
Course Overview
SA103 trains learners to:
- Prepare and route fibre from block terminals to the CSP
- Apply safe handling and cleaning techniques for fibre
- Work safely in both overhead and underground environments
- Identify and correctly use fibre components
- Maintain network quality, tension, and alignment standards
Learners complete a practical assessment and a multiple-choice theory test to confirm understanding of safe fibre handling, routing, and preparation practices.
